Since the beginning of starting Drops of Gratitude I’ve been getting requests to make a Chakra bracelet. And while I‘ve always thought it was a great idea, I kept putting it off. I didn’t even realize I was doing this until it came up again two months ago. I was in my office and a good friend of mine texted me to ask if we had one available on the website. I said that it was in the works and wrote ‘Chakra’ on a sticky note and stuck it to my computer. That same day I had someone request one on my Instagram feed.
I realize now why I didn’t jump on the idea right away.
Because gemstone energy sometimes scares the $%&! outta me.
I have always been a very big believer that everything carries energy and we all live at a certain frequency but the more I started to learn about gemstones, the more I felt like it was such a sacred art and I was such a newbie. I didn’t feel confident that I could execute the best Chakra stone bracelet because it seemed to be a realm I wasn’t familiar with. I learned a little bit about Chakras in school (I studied Holistic Nutrition) and I knew the basics but when it came to creating such a powerful gift I was a little intimidated. ANYWAYS, a few weeks ago I attended an AMAZING seminar that lasted 3 whole days. It is called Transformation Weekend and it’s ran by Erin Skye Kelly (AKA super human) … look her up
Some of my limiting beliefs popped up throughout the weekend and I decided to own them - all of them. If I felt like I wasn’t good at something I was going to do it over and over and over again. Something changed in me that weekend and I am so grateful for it. I came home and wrote a list of all the things that I didn’t think I was ready to do and ‘Chakra Bracelet’ was one of them.
I studied everything I could about the Chakra’s and I learned some amazing things! I found the perfect seven gemstones to represent each energy cluster and I nestled them between a stone that represents protection and strength. Just like that, the Chakra bracelet was born.
I have plenty more items on the list of “things I am not ready to do” and it still intimidates me but I am super proud that I’ve started crossing things off that list. And I am so happy with the Chakra bracelet. It turned out exactly as it should have.
